Services Overview

Screen Shot 2013-02-04 at 11.21.56Through LITC’s innovative One-Stop-Shop services, we engage and support Young People; Families; and Communities: to connect, to overcome barriers and to develop skills to give back to their local societies, including at national and European level.

We assist them to move towards long term employment, developing diverse skills and careers in a range of different industries. Read more on LITC Services.

LITC specialises in intense and life changing programmes, including:

  • Democracy and Citizenship projects
  • Welfare to Work
  • Volunteering
  • Families and Community programmes
  • Apprenticeships & Work-Based Learning

Other services include:

  • Person-centred Support
  • Befriending & Social Inclusion
  • Short Courses

LITC’s primarily supports Young People and Families throughout the UK. LITC works with those interested in Citizenship & Democracy; Volunteering; Mentoring; Apprenticeships; and long term Unemployed Family members.LITC also works with a range of different groups within the Young People and Families banner, including: ‘hard-to-reach’; BAME; Young Ex-offenders; NEETs; customers with Disabilities; and Over 50s. LITC also supports the inter-generational unemployed, especially Families.

LITC employs a dedicated team of Advisors and Mentors, who provide an individual service to all individuals, families and communities we work with. All participants receive an intensive assessment upon visiting LITC for the first time, where their situation and needs are considered and reviewed, identifying a bespoke action plan. This is then followed up by regular interviews, skills development activities, training, as well as any other service identified during their assessment.We operate a drop-in policy and our doors are open to anyone for consultation during our opening hours.
