Local partner: Red-Sea Project
The Redsea Project is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection and conservation of marine ecosystems and biodiversity in the Red Sea. Our long-term goal is to support the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda. We are a grassroots international conservation organisation that mobilises the power of education, research, and citizen science, working alongside locals and diving communities to protect endangered species and the precious ecosystems they inhabit.
Our current focuses include:
- Monitoring of marine ecosystems and mega-fauna and implementing conservation programs
- Providing environmental awareness programs for children, local workers, tourists and visitors
- Running citizen science programmes involving divers, snorkelers, and the local community
- Organising and conducting beach and underwater clean-up campaigns
- Designing and implementing conservation strategies and marine tourism plans in coordination with stakeholders.

Ghana
The LITC Reach program in Ghana includes a variety of community development, sports for development, youth programmes and education programmes in Bokuruwa, Kwahu East District Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana and surrounding communities. Participants will support the
Ignite Program which seeks to empower young people to break the cycle of Social, Spiritual and Physical poverty through Education. The Ignite program is designed to inspire young people to broaden their aspirations and to take an active leading role in changing their lives and transforming their communities.
Current programmes are focused on widening access opportunities to include underrepresented groups and those facing increased barriers to entry into employment and education.
Our organisation is supported by a core team of volunteers that are trained to carry out and support activities on a regular basis.

Art in Tanzania offers international volunteering internship programs in various subject areas, from human rights to climate change to NGO management. During the internship, participants will join in one or several of the many ongoing projects we are engaged in and have the opportunity to pursue new initiatives in their area of interest.
Tanzania Youth Espouse for Gender and Development (TYEGD), is a youth non-governmental and non-profit making organization which emerged through a collective critical reflection on Gender relations, Human Rights and the position of young people in bringing about social change in the community through their collective efforts.
