SPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT Youth Development Through Football

Like playing Football? Aged 16-24? Want to become a Football Coach and get your FA Level 1 Badge?

Would you be interested in getting involved in a project which will help you develop your skills and play Football?

Become a Football Coach and gain your Football Coaching Qualification (FA Level 1 Badge)?

YDthruF will mobilise adapted Football activities from February 2016 in: Lambeth; Southwark; Wandsworth, to support over  100 young people aged 16 to 24 to develop their Football techniques, Life and Work-based skills, increase their awareness of STIs and their participation in their local communities.   YDthhruF will mobilise a programme of four 10 weeks sessions of Football, Skills and Personal development activities for 25 young people living in these districts. It will involve; Football Techniques, Skills Development, Qualification

During every 10 weeks, young people will participate in Skills, Personal Development and Health activities, aimed to promote a young personâ economic, social and civic participation in society, while also developing the next generation of Football Coaches.   All young people will complete the FA Respect course and 10 young people will be selected and offered the opportunity to complete their FA Level 1 Football Qualification. All participants will be invited to volunteer in future LITC Football and Adapted Sport programmes through our Active Volunteers program.
