Charles Yassin
Senior Youth Officer
Charles is LITC's Youth Officer and specializes in the recruitment of learners, learner achievement, attendance, and retention and resource development. He supports young people to work towards their apprenticeships, volunteering and to become active citizens. He also acts as a mentor, providing career advice, delivering transnational workshops and providing skills development training. He joined LITC in October 2013, supporting various projects, providing workshops and training for young people. He studied Drama and English at Brunel University and is a qualified teacher, having recently completed his PGCE in 2013. He has worked across the youth sector as a senior support worker, a teaching assistant and is passionate about film making, especially documentaries and short films. He enjoys travel and has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East. In his spare time he also enjoys learning new languages and is currently studying Arabic.
Louise Southon
Learner Support
Louise is studying towards her apprenticeship in Business Administration. She is working with LITC to achieve this qualification. She assists with key Office Administration and IT suite management including OneFile and For Skills. Louise has over 3 years’ of experience in Administration and at Reception; she is working towards gaining her qualification to improve her career options. She is a team player who is keen to learn, listen and receive advice. She prides herself on providing outstanding customer service. Outside work she enjoys fashion, socializing, and travelling.
